Take a trip Beneath the Surface to learn about our connections to Florida’s manatees. Dive in to our newly upgraded classroom to watch an animated short film about the day in a life of a manatee. Follow along with a manatee mother named Mia, and her energetic young calf, Manny. Together they navigate a beautiful underwater world full of history, wonder, and challenges.
“Beneath the Surface: Our Connection to Florida’s Manatees” is produced by Riley Animation Studios and is set in an artistic marine ecosystem themed environment. Visit Manatee Lagoon- An FPL Eco-Discovery Center® to immerse yourself in this heartfelt call to action, emphasizing the importance of protecting manatees and their habitats for future generations.
